Meet Tootsie!
Tootsie is a tortoiseshell domestic short-hair. She was turned into the SPCA as a stray and is looking for her first permanent home. She prefers a home with a comfortable couch where she can bask in a beam of sunlight. Tootsie likes being groomed. She is good with adults and kids 10 years old and older. She is up-to-date with her shots and is spayed. If you think you can offer Tootsie the stability and love that she so desperately needs, please contact the Fredericksburg SPCA and set an appointment to meet this pretty girl!
Meet Honey! 
Honey is a 3-4 year old pit bull terrier, but don’t let a breeds bad reputation dissuade you! Honey is very good with adults and children. She is a ball of energy and loves running around and exercising. A new home with a big yard is ideal for her. Honey also enjoys being groomed. She is up-to-date on her shots and is spayed. If you are looking for a new best friend to share your with, Honey may be the girl for you!

Benny is a shy boy who needs a new family that will be patient and have time to teach him the joys of being a member of a good family. He is 1-2 years old and is a short-haired tabby. He would prefer to be the center of attention in a quiet, adult-only home. Benny is up-to-date on his shots and is neutered. If you have room in your heart and your home for a little guy that desperately needs to be shown unconditional love, Benny may be the cat for you!
Duke is an energetic, 3 year-old black labrador retriever. Duke needs an active family who enjoys outdoor time, long walks, and plenty of playtime. He has lots of personality and gets very excited. Like many labrador retrievers, Duke thinks he’s the perfect lap dog. Duke is up-to-date on his shots and is neutered. He is will be perfect for a family with adults and is good with some other dogs. If you have time to are in need of a high-energy best friend, Duke may just fit the bill. 
Meet Josephine! She is a medium build, Senior, short-haired cat. She is very sweet, but can be a little shy sometimes. She loves toys, especially ones that make noise. She is being trained to scratch on cardboard scratchers while at the SPCA. Josephine likes to sit in laps, but does not like to be picked up and carried around. She is 8.5-10.5 years old and is very good with adults. She likes to play and loves being brushed. She is up-to-date on her shots and is spayed. Meet Kara! She is new to the SPCA and still getting used to the surroundings. She is a beagle/ hound mix, 2-3 years old, and female. She loves being outside with people and loves long walks. She’s looking for a new owner that enjoys these things too. She likes to run, likes to be groomed, and she’s good with other dogs and adults. She is up-to-date on her shots and is spayed. Kara would love to interview you to be her new owner!
